Lake George, NY - 2014

It's a beautiful place, with amazing mountains and hiking, boating and swimming.  Just don't go to this 35 mile long lake expecting to catch any fish.

Elizabeth Morton National Wildlife Refuge

I had never seen a chipmunk so up close and personal in my life.  But even more impressive than that, is the fact that the local fauna will land on an upraised hand, laden with seeds and feed.  It was quite an experience, to say the least.

Ricardo Almeida Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

One of the best decisions I've ever made was to begin the journey of jiu jitsu.  It's positive effects on the mind and the body are immeasurable.  I'm a member at the acclaimed Ricardo Almeida Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, and despite the bruises, soreness and sore throats, I'll never look back.  These are a few shots from live training after one of the black belt classes.
